Supplement Facts
- Magnesium (as Magnesium Glycinate) — 275 mg elemental per serving
90 capsules per bottle. At two per night, that is 45 nights — not 30. We could round it to a tidier number and quietly hope you did not check. We would rather you checked.
The complete panel is printed on the bottle and shown in the product photos. No proprietary blends, nothing hidden.

How to take it
Two capsules in the evening, with or without food. Most men take it 30 to 60 minutes before bed.
This is our bigger bottle — 90 capsules, which at two a night is 45 nights rather than the usual 30. That works out at about 89 cents a night.
What does this do
One mineral, taken in the evening, that supports normal sleep quality and muscle relaxation.*
275 mg of elemental magnesium per serving, in the glycinate form. Elemental is the figure that matters — it is the magnesium itself, not the weight of the whole compound, and that distinction is most of the product. Glycinate rather than oxide, which is well absorbed and gentle on the stomach. Magnesium is involved in over 300 processes in the body, including muscle and nerve function.
What it is not: it is not a sleeping pill and it will not knock you out. It supports the systems your body already uses to wind down. If you have a diagnosed sleep issue, that is a doctor conversation.
Worth knowing before you buy. A small number of people find glycine stimulating rather than settling, and sleep worse on it. It is not common, but it is real, and we would rather you heard it from us than found out at 2am.
Magnesium can affect absorption of certain medications, including some antibiotics. Space it out and ask your pharmacist — they answer this one all day. If you have kidney disease, ask your doctor first.

How to tell if it's working
Note how long it takes you to fall asleep, across seven nights, before you start. Write it down.
Check again at week four — that is your refund decision, because the guarantee closes at day 30.
Then check again at week eight. That is the fuller answer, and it lands after the window has closed. Both numbers are yours, not ours.
The guarantee, and how it actually works
30 days from delivery. Here is the machinery.
One message through the Contact page with your order number. That's the whole process.
No form. No photo. No reason required. No return shipping, no restocking fee. No retention call — there's no script, because we never wrote one.
Empty bottles are honored. Refund to your original payment method, usually two to five business days after we confirm.
Shipping & returns
Free shipping on US orders over $50. Orders ship from the USA within 1–2 business days; tracking is emailed as soon as the label is created.
Damaged, defective or incorrect order? Contact us within 7 days with a photo and we'll replace or refund it at no cost — and it does not use up your 30-day guarantee.
What's inside
One mineral. The form and the elemental dose, both on the label.
Magnesium (as Magnesium Glycinate)275 mg elemental
Magnesium bound to glycine, an amino acid. The form matters for two reasons: it is one of the more absorbable ones, and it is gentle on the stomach. The cheap stuff — magnesium oxide — is poorly absorbed and famously sends people sprinting to the bathroom. We skipped it.
And the number matters more than the form. Magnesium is always bound to something, and glycinate is roughly 14% magnesium by weight, so 275 mg of elemental magnesium takes about 2 grams of the compound. Cheaper brands print the compound weight and let you assume it is the elemental weight. That is a six-to-sevenfold difference in the thing that actually does the work.*

What it supports
One mineral. Four things it supports.
Supports normal sleep quality
Most men take it 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Hence the name.
Supports muscle relaxation
Magnesium is involved in over 300 processes, including muscle and nerve function.
Gentle on the stomach
Glycinate, not oxide. Well absorbed, and it stays where you put it.
Supports healthy magnesium levels
Most men's diets fall short of the recommended intake. This is a gap-filler, not an exotic addition.
What to expect
This takes time. Here is roughly how long.
Magnesium is a mineral, not a sedative. It supports the systems your body already uses to wind down — which for some people is noticeable inside a fortnight and for others is never obvious at all.
-
Nights 1–7
You notice the routine
Taken 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Do not read anything into the first week.
-
Weeks 2–3
Calmer evenings
Some men report this early, and it is the most common thing they report. Some report nothing.
-
Day 30
The decision point
The guarantee closes here — and you are only two thirds of the way through the bottle, because it holds 45 nights.
-
Days 30–60
The fuller picture
If levels were low, this is where it settles. That lands after the refund window. We would rather say so than round the numbers together.
How we compare

Christopher L.5 out of 5 stars
The simplicity sold me
I've bought too many supplements where the front of the bottle makes ten different promises. REST is much more straightforward, which I actually prefer. -

Pretty straightforward magnesium supplement. I specifically wanted glycinate and liked that the label was easy to understand. -
Zachary F.5 out of 5 stars
No unnecessary complexity

Marcus R.4 out of 5 stars
A nighttime routine I can stick with
I've tried a few different magnesium products and most of them either upset my stomach or were just another bottle sitting in the cabinet. REST has been easy to make part of my nighttime routine. I take it after dinner and that's about it. The biggest thing I've noticed is that I don't feel like I'm carrying the whole day into bed with me. -
Chris D.5 out of 5 stars
Actually stuck with it
Three weeks in and I'm keeping it in the cabinet. That's saying something because I usually quit supplements after a week. -
Joshua N.5 out of 5 stars
Good for travel
I've been traveling more lately and this is much easier to pack than a tub of powder. Small bottle, capsules, done. -
Nathan V.5 out of 5 stars
Has become part of my routine
I started taking REST after realizing I was terrible about having any sort of consistent nighttime routine. I'm not going to say a supplement magically fixed everything, because it didn't. But taking REST has become the signal for me that it's time to stop working and wind down. I like that. -
Brandon K.5 out of 5 stars
Fits right into my evening
I keep REST beside my bathroom sink, so I see it every night. It's one of those little habits that's become automatic. -

James W.4 out of 5 stars
A simple addition to my evenings
I wasn't expecting anything dramatic, which is probably why I ended up liking it. I take two capsules as part of my evening routine and after a few weeks I realized I was actually looking forward to shutting everything down at night instead of staying on my phone until midnight. Can't say the supplement did all of that by itself, but REST has become part of the routine. -
Tyler R.5 out of 5 stars
Much easier than powders
I've bought magnesium powder before and eventually stopped using it because I got tired of mixing it. Capsules work much better for me. -
William B.4 out of 5 stars
I did my homework
I compared several magnesium products before choosing REST. The form of magnesium, straightforward labeling and lack of unnecessary extras were what stood out to me. -
Brian E.4 out of 5 stars

Good formula

Thomas H.4 out of 5 stars
Exactly the kind of supplement I wanted
I've never been the guy with a 12 step supplement routine. I wanted one or two things that made sense and REST was an easy choice. The capsules are straightforward and I like that magnesium glycinate was specifically listed rather than just magnesium. -
Andrew C.4 out of 5 stars
Clean and uncomplicated
Clean-looking bottle, simple formula and easy capsules. I don't need anything more complicated than that. -
Gregory M.5 out of 5 stars
Finally keeping it simple
I used to have a ridiculous supplement routine. Different powders, different times, different bottles. I've cut most of that out and REST is one of the few things I've kept. -
Steven A.5 out of 5 stars
Fits my evening habits
I've been trying to make my evenings less chaotic. Having a consistent supplement routine is a small part of that, and REST has been easy to keep up with. -

Stephen R.5 out of 5 stars
Convenient every night
I leave the bottle in the same place and take it every evening. Very little effort involved. -
Adam R.5 out of 5 stars
No flavor to deal with
This is one of those situations where capsules are better. I don't want my magnesium tasting like something I'm supposed to enjoy. -
Robert M.5 out of 5 stars
I liked knowing exactly what I was taking
Magnesium glycinate was recommended to me by a friend. I liked that REST actually tells you how much elemental magnesium you're getting instead of hiding behind a giant proprietary blend. That transparency was probably what convinced me to try it. -
Michael D.5 out of 5 stars
I appreciate the transparency
I've become much more particular about supplements. I want to know the actual form of an ingredient rather than just seeing a generic name on the front of the bottle. The magnesium glycinate was a big selling point for me. -
Aaron L.5 out of 5 stars
No unnecessary ingredients
I appreciate that this isn't loaded with 15 different ingredients. Magnesium glycinate, clear label, simple bottle. That's what I was looking for. -
Patrick C.4 out of 5 stars
Thoughtful formula
I like that the formula is centered around magnesium instead of trying to turn itself into a full multivitamin. It feels intentional. -
Justin W.5 out of 5 stars
One bottle instead of several
I was looking for magnesium without adding another complicated supplement stack. REST keeps things simple. -
Benjamin C.5 out of 5 stars
I like the overall approach
The product feels intentionally designed rather than overloaded. Magnesium is the focus, the directions are simple and the bottle doesn't make a bunch of outrageous promises. -
Jonathan M.5 out of 5 stars

Dylan S.5 out of 5 stars
Much better than powder
I've tried magnesium powder before and just got tired of mixing it every night. Capsules are way more convenient for me.

Questions
Questions men actually ask.
Including the awkward ones. If yours is not here, ask us on the Contact page and we will answer it plainly or tell you we don't know.
Why glycinate and not the cheaper forms?
Absorption and stomach comfort. Oxide is cheap because it mostly passes through you. Citrate is decent but can loosen things up. Glycinate is what you pay a couple of dollars more for and then never think about again.
What does “275 mg elemental” actually mean?
Magnesium is always bound to something, and what it is bound to changes the number on the label. Glycinate is roughly 14% magnesium by weight, so 275 mg of elemental magnesium takes about 2 grams of the compound.
Cheaper brands print the compound weight and let you assume it is the elemental weight. That is a six-to-sevenfold overstatement of the thing that does the work. We print the elemental figure and name the form, because those are the two numbers you would need to compare us against anyone else.
How many nights is a bottle?
Forty-five, not thirty. Ninety capsules at two a night. About 89 cents a night.
We could have called it a one-month supply and hoped you did not do the arithmetic. We would rather you did it.
Will it interact with my medications?
Magnesium can affect absorption of certain medications — some antibiotics, for example. Space it out and ask your pharmacist; they answer this one all day.
If you have kidney disease, ask your doctor before starting. Impaired kidneys do not clear excess magnesium well.
Is there a subscription?
Yes, and it's opt-in. This page defaults to a one-time purchase — if you want Subscribe & Save you have to choose it. 25% off, shipped monthly, cancel any time from your account or by messaging us.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You message us and get your money back. 30 days from delivery, empty bottle honored, no form and no return shipping.
Worth knowing: a bottle is 45 nights, so at day 30 you will still have a third of it left. The guarantee honors an empty bottle and a two-thirds-empty one just the same.
